The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation hosted its 25th Anniversary Spring Ball on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, N.J. Attendees turned out in impressive numbers to celebrate those who have contributed to the hospital’s success over the years.
With more than 500 people in attendance, the hospital proudly reflected on its past contributors, as it raised money for its future endeavors. The special silver anniversary night honored past recipients of Good Samaritan Hospital’s prestigious Sister Joseph Rita Award for Medical Excellence and the annual Good Samaritan Hospital Medal of Honor. Honorees included all recipients of the two annual awards bestowed by Good Samaritan Hospital in the past 25 years.
The Spring Ball grossed an astounding $375,000, which will allow the hospital to make significant improvements on service and quality of care. Specifically, the proceeds will go towards improving the hospital’s Emergency Department. The efforts will be focused on structural changes to improve patient flow, as well as acquisition of cutting-edge triage equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation would like to thank the Spring Ball Volunteer Committee especially our co-chairs Lewis Bobroff, M.D., of Ramapo Radiology Associates; Jack Holt of Holt Construction; and Joseph R. Lagana of U.S. Information Systems for leading everyone through a successful event.
