Vascular Center
Serving Western Orange and Sullivan Counties, NY,
Northern Sussex County, NJ, and Pike County, PA.

Bon Secours Community Hospital is proud to announce the introduction of vascular services along with the addition of Dr. Michael Innerfield, Peripheral Vascular Specialist, to our team of physicians.

Completed in January 2005, the vascular center includes a $600,000 renovation in both equipment and location; $460,000 to purchase necessary equipment and $140,000 to make necessary facility renovations to accommodate the service.

Dr. Michael Innerfield has begun performing minimally invasive procedures involving the lower extremities with the intent to incorporate neck and upper extremities in the near future. Currently these services provide treatment for those with peripheral vascular disease, also known as poor circulation or hardening of the arteries. Patients at highest risk include those that are smokers, have high cholesterol, heart disease or diabetes, or are obese. Symptoms include leg and foot pain, non-healing sores and varicose veins. In most cases, Dr. Innerfield places a stent in the affected area and restores circulation.

Patients who are referred by their physicians or are experiencing symptoms of Peripheral Vascular Disease can depend on the center’s ability to properly diagnose and treat vascular disease with remarkable results.
