Clostridium difficile Infection: From Colonization to Cure

Course Description:
On September 9, 2020, the Liver Transplant Program at Westchester Medical Center is hosting a Live Virtual CME event titled "Clostridium difficile Infection: From Colonization to Cure." In this lecture, we will review various strategies for prevention and treatment of Clostridium difficile infection especially in high risk patient populations. Participants will understand the epidemiology and risks associated with Clostridium difficile infection, define the risks of recurrent C. difficile infection, and review the treatment updates for management of Clostridium difficile infection.
