The Medical Staff Library (also known as the Caroline D. Schwartz Medical Library) is a reference and research library funded by the medical staff and hospital administration. Its primary purpose is to provide information and referral services appropriate to the professional, technical, educational, administrative and research needs of the entire medical and hospital staff.
It does this through a variety of services: data base searching for research requests, document retrieval (from books and journals), current awareness for special topics and new journal issue alerts, interlibrary loans (borrowing book chapters and articles from other libraries), in-library Internet accessibility (computers and Wi-Fi), help finding CME opportunities, and training on the library’s resources.
Collections and services can be accessed via drop-in (stop-by) visit, phone call, fax or email. Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
Hours of Operation
The Medical Library is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
