St. Josephs Place Secures Another Five-Star Rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. (August 15, 2023) –– St. Josephs Place, located on the campus of WMCHealth’s  Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y., recently received a five-star Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) nursing home rating for excellence in specialized care.

The overall star rating for nursing homes comes from a combination of health inspections, staffing and quality of resident care measures. CMS calculates a star rating for each of these three categories, along with an overall facility rating, with a five-star rating indicating a facility’s exemplary care and physical environment.

This is the second consecutive five-star rating from CMS for St. Josephs Place.
