Port Jervis, NY (August 16, 2016) – More than 120 physicians and friends of Bon Secours Community Hospital raised more than $50,000 at the hospital's annual golf outing on August 8. The outing was held at High Point Golf Club in Montague, N.J.
Funds raised through the event will help the hospital expand and enhance its behavioral health and cardiac care programs. These services are essential for residents of Port Jervis and surrounding communities.
"Thanks to our supporter's generosity and community-minded spirit, the outing was a great success," said Bon Secours Community Hospital Foundation Chair Lisa Toaldo, D.M.D. "Funds raised will make an important difference in the services Bon Secours Community Hospital offers the community."
"Once again, the community came together to support a great event for a great cause," said Dick McKeeby, chair of the event. "It's amazing what we can accomplish when we all work together!"
